DCINY has just announced their 2011 season, and it’s official: Paradise Lost in Chicago (March 8); Paradise Lost in Los Angeles (June 25); and full concerts of my choral music in New York City (April 10) and in Vancouver (May 22). Ensembles and individuals may audition. So so so excited to conduct these concerts – hope to see you there!

That sounds awesome! Do you know if you'll be premiering any new works? (maybe a couple more volumes of animal crackers :-) )

What if we just want to ATTEND the performance? I checked ticketmaster AND the DCINY website, and neither of them list any performances in March. :( I'll be up that way for the ACDA conference, and I would LOOOOVE to catch Paradise Lost!

You have no idea how much I want to do this…but I most likely can't…for either concerts of Paradise Lost. And it mainly has to do with the fee prices being too high.
Hopefully some miracle will shoot out of the sky to help me but I won't hold my breath. I wish you guys ALL the best of luck you could ever receive from a person! :0)

Ever since I first caught wind of Paradise Lost, I've been wanting to see it. Even if it's only the music without all the theatre involved, I cannot wait to be there, and the moment tickets go on sale, I will so be there!
My only regret is that I have no singing talent whatsoever, but I'll be passing this on to my friends who do!
Can't wait to be there in March in Chicago!!!

Are there going to be scholarship opportunities for any of these concerts?

Yes, i was wondering if there was going to be any scholarship opportunity for 'Paradise Lost' in Chicago?

Can you tell me more about the Vancouver May 22 event? That's my home but I haven't heard anything about it.
