US folks auditioning for the Disney World of Color Honor Choir:

We’re well underway with our World of Color Honor Choir (“Glow”) and it looks like it’s going to be extraordinary. Many of the videos submitted thus far are terrific, with lovely voices, well recorded. Bravo to everyone who has recorded already.

For those of you who haven’t submitted your videos yet, PLEASE DO IT THIS WEEKEND or early next week! Please don’t wait until the last minute to submit your video, only to discover a technical glitch that prohibits you taking part. The very best way to be certain that we see your audition video is to record it soon, before the final rush.

Remember to follow all of the guidelines concerning the background in your video (dark & plain is best – dark blue/black– with no visible logos ) & headphones (ear buds work well – use one not two if you’re struggling to hear yourself). It would be fabulous if you could check the level of your microphone (system/sound preferences – make sure that when you sing quietly you can be heard, but that when you sing louder it doesn’t go off the scale and distort). And don’t forget to clap!

Practice hard, get the piece in your voice, and then share it with us soon. I’m looking forward to hearing each and every one of you.
