Another clip from the upcoming album. That’s soprano Grace Davidson singing the solo exactly as I’ve always wanted to hear it.

To be honest, I was thinking, "How can the solo be any different than the ones on all the other recordings?" and then I heard it. The length and beauty of the "I" part of the solo… it creates a magical feeling for the rest of the solo. I'm so excited for this album!

man, those chords just ring, moreso than any polyphony recording i have heard to date

there is just something magical that happens when the frequencies are just right, the notes "lock" into place and overtones just bloom from it

    gahh…

    uhmayzing

WOW. We did this in the Waldorf College Choir last year, and I wish we could have sounded even a tenth as awesome as this. I can't wait to hear the entire thing on the album.

OMG, that IS it! Exactly! Perfectly straight and absolutely no portamento. I've always cringed to varying degress at that spot with every recording so far, but this–wow. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE ENTIRE CD!!!

And this exact spot in the score is where I walked in late to my daughter's high school performance. This exact bit is the first time I ever heard any of your music. I heard "wings… wings…. wings…, " fell back standing against the wall and tears began streaming down my face.

To be honest, I didn't think there was any better recording than the Polyphony version.

    Until now.

My brain just exploded for the third time. ;P
