Itay Talgam: Lead like the great conductors

November 30, 2009 at 6:01 am UTC

An absolutely incredible Ted talk on conducting and the nature of communication within an ensemble. Fascinating viewing regardless your vocation, but a must-watch for would-be conductors.

I'd like to share a video of a choir with no conductor beating out the cues, performing Dr. Stroope's Riveder le Stelle.

"Never look at the trombone, it only encourages them." ROTFLOL!

This was really funny to watch despite the fact that I'm not really considering conducting really in my music future but this was insightful and humorous!

Thanks for posting this, Eric. Insightful, amusing, and poignant.

That is terrific, Eric. Thank you for sharing.

That was awesome! As a young conductor its nice to get a taste of different styles of conducting, and how all the players, or singers, come together as one.
    Thanks for posting!
