Just Trying Something Here…

April 7, 2009 at 10:00 pm UTC

I’m sitting here in the dentist’s office, and I just wanted to see if I could actually post from my iPhone. Test? Test?

Brush your teeth kids. They are the best friends you’ve got.

I hope they're nice, clean, and pearly white. :) The test was successful. :D

    Best. Post. Ever.

    Couldn't resist.

It totally works. By the way, we did "I Thank You God For Most This Amazing Day" last year at St. Mark's Cathedral in Dundela, Northern Ireland. I shouldn't, but I envy you. Thanks for your writing, man.

Hello Mr. Whitacre my high school choir, the Main Street Singers, from Lewisville High School just sang your song "Seal Lullaby" for a competition. We got perfect scores along with our other songs. Anyway the reason I'm contacting you is because we thought it would be amazing if you would listen to it. I tried getting to your main website, but my computer is being stupid and I can't get flash to work for some reason now. If your interested I've got the track on my computer and I can e-mail it to you. You can mail me at [email protected]. One last thing we have sang your music here for the last couple years and it really is amazing work. The first song I ever sang of yours was "Sleep" and from then on I've just loved what you do.

You're very random. And lucky, because you have an iPhone. Hope you don't have cavities!

    That.

    That was fantastic.

I mean, your music has always touched me, but those words have changed me.

  • Carolyn

We gotcha loud and clear Eric! Keep flossing! :-)

  • Tabes

Wow. Can you adapt this post for setting in the vein of Animal Crackers?

    Mr. Whitacre,
I'm a music student at Tennessee Tech and am writing a music history paper on Lux Aurumque. I know you're really busy, but I was wondering if I could ask you a few questions sometime soon…in the next few days, maybe? I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Well, maybe I should leave you a way to contact me. That would be helpful, I guess. (Sorry…) http://hollistaier.wordpress.com
    Thanks for your time.
