The Disney Hall Concert Update
Just a quick note to let all of you ticket holders know that poet Charles Anthony Silvestri and I will be giving an hour long masterclass/Q&A session from 6:30-7:30, right before the 8:00 performance. I’ll talk about all of my pieces, and together we’ll talk about our creative processes, our friendship, and of course, our work as collaborators (Sleep, Leonardo Dreams, Lux, Nox, Her Sacred Spirit Soars).
The concert is Friday, August 7th, an epic evening of my choral music with the incredible National Youth Choir of Great Britain (Britain’s finest singers aged 17-25). I’ll conduct 12 of my pieces, including the West Coast premieres of The Animal Crackers, Vol. II; the moon is hiding in her hair; i walked the boulevard; and Nox Aurumque.
