One week from tonight I’ll be at the premiere of Virtual Choir 2.0 at the Paley Center for Media in New York. I’ll speak for a while, introduce the video, take questions from the audience, and then stick around to meet fans after the event. Who’s with me? Woo hoo!

You have no idea how excited I am….

Being a writer, and seeing a writer stage something as innovative as this is awe inspiring

  • Courtney Lea K.

GAH! I wish I lived on the east coast right now. But nooooooo, I have to live in the midwest…grrrrr…lol. This is gonna be AWESOME!

  • Courtney Lea K.

PS – Saw the preview from the TED Conference and I am not embarrassed to say that I bawled like a baby the entire time lol. It's more beautiful than what words could possibly describe! Can't wait for the finished product! :'D

  • Lee

How amazing that technology has made the world a village and the individual a choir. The sound is from heaven and the beauty transcends all borders and boundaries. Inspiring, thank you.

  • Gary Ferguson

I spontaneously cried with love for all of us humans when I tripped over your TED talk. The global village is real and is in your room! Bravo! I'm counting down to April 7th.

  • Jeff Watson

I just got my tickets. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on all of this.

  • William Holtam

I'm 16 years old, and from England. This is Incredible. Is there going to be a 3.0. because I would really like to get involved.

  • Katharine

Seconded to William's comment–will there be future projects to get involved with for those of us who learned of this too late?

  • Colette Halliday

I chickened out of uploading anything last time but I can't wait to see/hear it all, this is SUCH a fantastic way to unite the world in music. I wish I could be there tomorrow but sadly I live in the UK so maybe not….this time!

  • Darrell Polka

I'm DEFINITELY with you, Mr Whitacre, along with the world…I wish you all the best tomorrow and everyone involved in any way with your Virtual Choir project. I will be tuned into the webcast and watching it on my 36 inch HDTV and the sound piped through my Pioneer Amp. Just the way it was meant to be seen & heard, and my best friend is driving all the way from Chicago to witness this historic moment in history…AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!

I am a big fan of TED talks and this is absolutely wonderful! I sent this link to my daughter's choir teacher today. Our esteemed leaders are considering cutting the school choir from next year's budget. I am ready for them now with a link to this awesome experience!
