Cheltenham Music Festival: Talk – Is Singing Good For You?

The Centre for Performance Science at the Royal College of Music & Imperial College are investigating the effect of singing on the health and wellbeing of professional singers and audience members. The team took saliva tests, electrocardiogram data & qualitative data from singers & the audience at Eric’s Union Chapel concert on 5th March 2015 and will be repeating a similar experiment in Gloucester Cathedral on 7th July. The research team, alongside Eric and event chair Richard Morrison (The Times), will present the findings of the research and take questions.
