Rhapsody App Launch

June 12, 2014 at 4:33 pm UTC

The Rhapsody Project, of which Eric is honored to be an ambassador, has just launched a new app as part of their hospital patient rehabilitation programme. This app aims to motivate patients in their rehabilitation through visual art and music.

The Rhapsody Project draws on the body of research that looks at how music can impact health and can be used to stimulate movement in patients recovering from conditions that do not allow them to move easily. The aim of the project is to improve both patient experience and clinical outcomes within the hospital.

The musical content for the app was created by young composers who come from some of the best musical institutions across the country. Eric was thrilled to work with these young musicians during the composition and recording process.

Eric is honoured to support the ground-breaking work of Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity, saying “their vision to create works of art for the healing environment will provide benefits today and a legacy for the future. This has been a tremendous opportunity for young composers to embrace.”

The app is now available to download from the iTunes store and Google Play.
