A nice little trailer that the Berlin Rundfunkchor put together, with music and scenes from the Christmas broadcast rehearsals and concert. That’s Friedemann Eichhorn playing violin as Hila sings – our first time performing together since we premiered the Five Hebrew Love Songs 15 years ago.
Hila has just begun learning Thomas Ades’s “The Tempest”, which she will sing with the Boston Symphony Orchestra at the end of March (with Mr. Ades conducting). Pages and pages of this, all above the staff. She will sing it all from memory, of course, effortlessly, as she always does. Freak.
