In Pictures – The Premiere of Virtual Choir 4 at Buckingham Palace

July 19, 2013 at 9:04 am UTC

Last week Virtual Choir 4 ‘Fly to Paradise’ was premiered in the presence of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as part of the Coronation Festival in the gardens of Buckingham Palace. Eric conducted the performance, with Grammy Award winning soprano Hila Plitmann as the soloist, supported by the Bach Choir singing live. The video of VC4 Fly to Paradise provided fantastic visuals for the performance. Please see below for official pictures from the concert (photo credit: Theo Cohen):

What a magical night! So thrilling to know we were all a part of it—in our own little way…;D

I still marvel that a granddaughter of London could sing for the Queen and be part of the Coronational Festival Gala.

I was there when he performed the next night! It brought tears to my eyes!

This was wonderful- loved watching the video of this. I particularly enjoyed the improv (presumably) at the end, where Hila’s voice suddenly rose to a high C# (I think). Stunning!
