Live Webcast: Eric Whitacre’s ‘Deep Field’: Creative Connections in Science and Music

Live at Minnesota Public Radio’s UBS Forum, Eric will join co-host Brian Newhouse to discuss the creation of his most recent work, “Deep Field” which will premiere with the Minnesota Orchestra in concert May 8-10 at Orchestra Hall. The event will be webcast live on YourClassical.org.

Eric and Brian will be joined by composer Steven Bryant whose “Ecstatic Waters” for orchestra will premiere in the concert series, as well as members of the team from The Nerdery who created the app that forms part of “Deep Field.”

To be in with a chance to be in the live studio audience, apply for tickets on the MPR website. The winners will be drawn at random on Thursday 30 April. Those who are unsuccessful will also be notified.
