BBC Prom: Eric Whitacre & Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

Taking place in London’s Royal Albert Hall, this concert offers the opportunity to hear the European premiere of Eric’s new piece “Deep Field” based on the Hubble Deep Field images and to take part in the performance with a mobile app.
He’ll be joined by Martin James Bartlett on piano for a performance of George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, Leonard Elschenbroich on cello to perform The River Cam and the choral line-up will be made up of the BBC Singers and the BBC Symphony Chorus.
Tickets on go sale on the BBC Proms site on 23 April.
