Eric Donates Piano to Museum
Eric has donated the piano that he composed such works as “Sleep,” “Water Night,” “Lux Aurumque,” to the McMahon International Choral Music Museum in Oklahoma City.
“This instrument, generously donated to the American Choral Directors Association by Mr. Whitacre, will be significant to anyone who has performed his music. It has become the centerpiece of the Museum’s collection. The Museum’s display is enhanced by a life-size image of the composer provided through the courtesy of Iris Derke from DCINY.” said Scott Dorsey.
