Eric to host workshop with the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra
Eric will be hosting a workshop with Hamburg Symphony Orchestra on 31st October 2013 in Großer Saal in Hamburg’s Laeiszhalle .
The repertoire of the workshop will include Bach chorales and some of Eric’s own pieces. The workshop will be followed by an evening concert, where the workshop participants will be given the chance to perform in front of an audience. The concert will also involve a performance of Arvo Pärt’s Passio (Johannespassion) with Eric conducting the Eric Whitacre Singers and members of the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra.
The workshop is open to the public and all participants are offered tickets for the concert for 20,-€ as they too will be an important part of the event – performing in the concert themselves!
