On June 13th, Eric will be joined by poet and historian, Charles Anthony Silvestri & Philedelpia-based choir, The Crossing, for a free event on the Millennium Stage of the Kennedy Center. The event will include a presentation from Eric about his work with the Virtual Choir, insights by Silvestri about his lyrics for Sleep culminating in a performance by The Crossing. The hour-long event will be streamed live on the Kennedy Center website.

The event concludes with a performance from The Crossing who will perform a selection of Eric’s works. We invite the audience and singers all over the world to join their voices with the those on stage for performances of “Lux Aurumque” and “Sleep”. So bring your scores a head down to the Millennium Stage at 6pm on June 13th. If you can’t make it, invite your fellow singers over and watch the webcast with music at the ready.

The performance of Sleep will also feature a multimedia presentation of the art of Anne Horjus as seen in the children’s book based on this choral classic.

Entry to the event is free but head down early to make sure you can get a good view!
