The Official, Final Virtual Choir 2.0 Numbers

Remember when our goal was 900 videos. Heh. The final numbers are:
2051 videos.
58 countries represented.
That is an astonishing achievement; congratulations to everyone who participated! The final video will debut sometime in April – I’ll announce the exact date as soon as I know. In the meantime, there is now quite a team of people who are assembling and polishing the videos, half working audio, half working video. Woo hoo!

Over 2,000 voices?!? HOLY GUACAMOLE!!! If Lux Aurumque was impressive (and it WAS), this is going to be nothing short of STUNNING! The only thing I wonder is how you get 2,051 voices down to a WHISPER at the end!

I am so amazed by the number of participants! Even my young, elementary music students were commenting that they saw clips of the first VC at their music camp this past summer. The news is spreading fast! Thanks again, Mr. Whitacre and Team who are making this all possible.

Hi, I just recently discovered the virtual choir and I couldn't even believe it at first. It is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. I am a hard core choral singer so I am a little disappointed that I missed out, when will there be another virtual choir?
