Lux Aurumque at Cambridge

April 3, 2009 at 8:57 pm UTC

This is a performance of Lux Aurumque by the legendary Choir of King’s College at their annual Christmas Eve service, “A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols.” Held in King’s College Chapel, Cambridge, it’s broadcast globally on the BBC, both on the radio and television. Their conductor is the magnificent Stephen Cleobury.

Isn’t the whole thing just sublime? The singing, the images – I really can’t imagine a more perfect performance.
