Premiere of A New Work Tonight and Sunday
ALABAMA: Birmingham-Southern College’s annual Service of Lessons and Carols celebrates its 75th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion they have commissioned from me a new work called “The Chelsea Carol”, scored for mixed choir and organ. With a gorgeous new Advent text by my dear friend Charles Anthony Silvestri, it was composed especially for the BSC Choirs with the generous support of alumni and friends of the college’s choral program.
Services will be held on December 2nd at 7:30pm and December 4th at 16:30pm at Canterbury United Methodist Church. The event is open to the public and admission is free. For more information, click here. Woo hoo!
