The Greatest Summer You Will Ever Have
Young singers, instrumentalists, and stage-techies: The College Light Opera Company is now accepting applications for their 2011 summer season. I spent 3 full summers there as an assistant conductor (and 5 more partial summers as a principal conductor) and had THE TIME OF MY LIFE. 9 fully staged shows in 9 weeks, 54 performances. I cannot recommend this program highly enough.
As a bonus (or a punishment, you decide) I’m posting a picture of me at CLOC in 1993. That’s me in the black dress and the size 12 red pumps, 3rd from the left. I was the drummer in the onstage band in our production of “Cabaret”, and to answer your question, yes, yes I did. I totally shaved my legs.
