Eric Whitacre Singers’ next London concert will be at Cadogan Hall, 1^st February 2012. They will be performing a programme of Inspirations, which will feature works from American composers who have both influenced and inspired Eric Whitacre’s compositions.

The programme includes Whitacre’s very first piece, Go, Lovely Rose, and one of his recent works Alleluia. The pieces on this programme represent the integration of music written by American composers who have set texts from a different culture, including Lauridsen’s infamous Six Fire Songs which are an intensely dramatic cycle, rich with symbolic imagery of flames, fire and passion.
