Brilliance!
Less than a month ago I sent out the call, asking writers and poets to submit works to be read at The Eric Whitacre Singers Christmas concert tonight. Well over 400 submissions, an extraordinary sampling of writing from around the globe: funny, poignant, earnest and heartfelt.
I’ve chosen my five favorites, which will be performed at tonight’s concert. Congratulations to everyone who sent in a submission, and my deepest thanks. Your words have inspired me greatly this Christmas season.
