You Say It’s Your Birthday? It’s My Birthday Too.

This is easily one of the best birthday presents I’ve ever received. THANK YOU to everyone who made this, and a big thanks to whomever composed the tasty music! (Also, I love their cheeky name: “Schola Cantorum Dies Natalis Choir”, or roughly, the “Singing School Birthday Choir.”) Just awesome.

Hila has a new album out today, a gorgeous collection of Jewish pieces including the solo soprano version of the Five Hebrew Love Songs. She’s even arranged the first five pieces on the disc – Five Yiddish Songs – and, well… damn if this girl don’t have talent.
